What Kind of Chair Are You Looking For?

Let's begin with some information - there are basically three styles of chairs used in a worship setting (not including pews or theater chairs)

1. Continuous Seating Chairs - Forms a row where the chairs interlock and the padded areas touch, allowing you to sit anywhere comfortably, even between two seats. Most of our chairs are this style.  Example

2. Individual Seating Chairs -  This was the early style which developed in the 1980's, with the padded areas in between the legs.  They still connect together to form a continuous row.  Less expensive than option one.  Example

3. Multipurpose Chairs - These styles can be used in classrooms, dining areas or worship settings.  Note that most of these do not connect together, which may be a requirement for sanctuary use in your city or community.  Check with your local fire department or zoning.  Generally the least expensive. Example

Another Consideration

• STOCK CHAIRS - We then move unto another consideration - many chairs today are made up in advance of your order, in popular colors.  Some of these are imported, others made in the USA.  These will provide the greatest savings, and you can often receive them in 1-3 weeks from ordering.  Some styles offer features like extra width or arms.   Financing is available, too.

• CUSTOM CHAIRS are made after you order, in your choice of fabrics and finishes. These chairs take longer (due to manufacturing) and are more expensive, but can provide a more stylish look for your church.  Expect a wait of 3-10 weeks.
